Belgique Schneider extends management system
As confirmed by the certification organisation, Intechnica Cert, Schneider Schreibgeräte fulfils all requirements of the ISO 9001:2015, which is the international assessment benchmark for quality management systems. After successfully passing the audit, the certificate was handed to Schneider and applies for all business areas of the company. The headquarters of Schneider in the Black Forest in Germany and the subsidiaries in Wernigerode, Germany were certified.
The international management norm ISO 9001:2015 lays down the requirements for the quality management system. This verifies that all products and services provided fulfill the legal requirements. The certification also confirms that all of Schneider’s processes comply with the international standards and that the company continuously monitors, tests and improves them. This includes, among others, conformity with the legal requirements and stipulations relevant to the organisation, the documentation and transparent representation of the processes and workflows within the organisation, as well as the optimum implementation of resources and measurable quality goals for a fixed period.
Furthermore, Schneider has also been EMAS-certified since 1998, which is the strictest environmental management system worldwide. By having both management systems audited, Schneider was able to unite the quality and environmental requirements (ISO 9001/14001 and EMAS) into one integrated management system. As such, the planning, control, monitoring and improvement of all quality and environment-related processes or workflows are bundled in and controlled by one system.
