Quality is not an end in itself. The point is to launch writing insturments with characteristics that allow the users to intergrate them naturally in their everyday life - to make it subtly more comfortable and better.

Therefore, we are consistently working on technical innovations, which improve the writing characteristics of our instruments. These include the Viscoglide Technology for smooth and gliding writing, the LiquidInk Technology for an extremly even ink flow or hybrid tips made of stainless steel or elastic plastic for a particular soft and pleasant writing.

We want to monitor our manufacturing process any time so that we can continously optimise it to guarantee the high quality of our products. Therefore, we develop and manufacture exclusively in Germany - which can be seen by the "Made in Germany" on all our writing instruments.


The Brand of the Century 2016

"A "Brand of the Century" is a brand that has achieved the Champions League ... the very best. That's what everyone wants," says Florian Langenscheidt, the editor of the "Brand of the Century" compendium published by the editorial German Standards. In 2016 Schneider was awarded with precisely this title - for being a brand that is unique in its sector. Be it the introduction of the ballpoint pen in Germany, "Made in Germany" or EMAS-certified environmental performance ... Schneider stands for quality, innovation and integrity.


The German Brand Award 2017

Success all along the line: In 2017, the prestigious German Brand Award was given to Schneider. In the category "Industry Excellence in Branding - Office & Stationery" Schneider was one of the top candidates and has since been entitled to bear the "German Brand Award Winner 2017" logo. Schneider fulfilled all the requirements that the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute set for the participants: success, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication.
