At Schneider, we are very proud that we have made it again and remain amongst the most sustainable companies of the country.

At the moment, and in this difficult time we receive the most beautiful, positive news from the recovering nature. This is an ode to sustainability and an opportunity for sustainable corrections.

Schneider has also received very positive news from the field of sustainability, as Schneider has been nominated for the German Sustainability Award for the second time and thus remains amongst of the most sustainable companies in Germany. The German Sustainability Award is THE most important award in the field of environment and sustainability in Germany! The award honours companies that are particularly successful in meeting the ecological and social challenges of our time. Since 2008, the German Sustainability Award has been presented annually by the National German Sustainability Award Foundation together with the Federal Government in various categories honouring companies, cities, designers and start-ups that have successfully committed themselves to sustainable business.

At Schneider, we are very proud that we have made it again amongst the best: “We are incredibly excited about the renewed nomination, and very proud to be recognized as a sustainable company that processes plastics, metals and chemicals — in other words, operates in industries that face major hurdles in terms of sustainability. We were already very happy about the nomination last year. Back then, the nomination was about our general sustainability management. This year, we applied for a specific “transformation field”. We are planning a very special project in the transformation areas of “resources” and “society”, where we believe that we have found a scalable solution that can have a great effect on people and the natural environment in our community.“

The final winners will be announced in December 2020 at the award ceremony in Düsseldorf.
