Rottweil, 17 May 2025 – Against the stunning backdrop of Kraftwerk Rottweil, a historic industrial monument in the picturesque Neckar Valley, Schneider hosted an extraordinary corporate event under the motto “Make it matter”. The former gunpowder factory, now a creative event space managed by the agency “trend factory,” provided the perfect setting for an evening of inspiration, engaging conversations, and countless culinary delights.
The entire workforce, along with their partner, was invited to celebrate the company’s successes together. Numerous food stalls offered culinary delicacies catering to every taste, accompanied by a curated selection of beverages. But the celebration was much more than a feast—it was a tribute to Schneider's corporate culture.

A particular highlight was the inspiring keynote speech by Herbert O. Zinell, former mayor of Schramberg and once ministerial director as well as head of the office at the Ministry of the Interior of Baden-Württemberg. In line with the venue’s symbolic significance, Zinell emphasized the importance of innovation and transformation in an ever-changing world. Tradition alone is not enough—courage to embrace new paths is essential to stay ahead. This also aligns with the philosophy of “Make it matter“, as employees’ work can make a real difference—for the company, for clients, and for society.

The Schneider management then took the stage to lead employees through a fascinating presentation of the company’s new brand identity. The English-language guiding principle “Make it matter” places greater emphasis on emotions and positions Schneider’s business areas—“Write, Create, Promote”—on a more international level. It’s a logical decision, as 65% of the company’s revenue is generated outside Germany. Through impressive film sequences, the company’s successful journey was showcased, along with a glimpse into the future—new collaborations, product innovations, digital transformation, and sustainable corporate strategies. Entertainment was also a key part of the evening. Magician Johnny Diabolo from Salzburg enchanted the guests, while hobby artist Bianca Weber encouraged employees to create artworks using Schneider products. The many individual mosaics came together to form a collective masterpiece, symbolising the significance of each individual and artistically reflecting the company’s philosophy. The band “Premium Style” delivered musical variety that got everyone dancing.

Employees left the event with unforgettable impressions, an exclusive T-shirt featuring the motto “Make it matter”, and a branded K15 ballpoint pen in the company colours. It was an evening that was not just about celebration but also inspiration—true to Schneider's pioneering spirit. An event that strengthened solidarity and sharpened the vision for a bold future.
