Features icon category
The ‘Features’ icon category is used to clearly display technical product characteristics such as refillability, document authenticity or left-handed orientation. It is available in two colour versions: black and white. The icons used for a specific writing instrument are stored in the customer portal for the respective product.
Sustainability icon category
We are proud to clearly highlight the sustainable features of our writing instruments. With the exception of the Blue Angel, all symbols in this icon category are green. Care must be taken to select the correct language version for the respective market. The icons used for a specific writing instrument are stored in the customer portal for the respective product.
Blue Angel
If a product has been awarded the Blue Angel, we are happy to show this. The emblem may only be used in conjunction with a short link that displays the internet address and the number of the basic award criteria (UZ number). Instead of the short link, an explanatory box can be optionally displayed with the most important advantages for the environment and health for the relevant basic award criteria.
Bio-based plastic
Bio-based plastic comes from renewable resources such as sugar cane, corn or lactic acids from plant fermentation processes. If a writing instrument is made from this material, we show this clearly in our advertising with the corresponding icon.
Recycled plastic
By using recycled materials, we are actively helping to conserve increasingly scarce raw materials and energy sources. The exact proportion of recycled plastic in the body of our products is indicated in the icon. This can be found in the customer portal for the relevant product.
Pen tips and ink colours
There are two different ways of displaying details about a writing instrument, such as the tip type, the line width or the colour: as a photorealistic image or as a simplified icon. Which style is chosen depends on the intended use.
Photorealistic image
Here, a pen tip is always shown in its original size in combination with a stylised line. These visualisations are especially used on packaging or at the point of sale.
Simplified image
The pen tip icon category is used in cases where a lot of information has to be shown in a small space. This applies, for example, to product catalogues or product sheets.
