Traditional print advertisements for journals, magazines and brochures play a significant role in our marketing mix. That is why there are different versions for each product area, each with a different focus.
A strong motif for a meaningful message. A people motif or product image becomes the sole star of a single-image advertisement. The colour area with the characteristic Circle Cut can be positioned flexibly and adapts to the height and width of the respective amount of text. It is also possible to integrate a product image into it. For the Write product range, the area can be coloured in Heritage Blue or Matter Blue. If you want to design a single-image advertisement, use the ‘1-image’ template.
Schneider Write 1-image
In the Write product range, the surface of the Circle Cut can be coloured in Heritage Blue or Matter Blue.

The Create Brushes and the Schneider Create Font characterise the look of the DIY product range.
Schneider Promote 1-image
The area of the Circle Cut is filled with the Promote Ambient Gradient in the Promote area.
The two-image advertisement is the right choice for more in-depth storytelling. Two motifs provide the opportunity to tell a visual story and showcase both people and products equally. The image motif focuses on people and their lives. The product or application/usage image establishes the connection to our writing instruments. For the Write product range, the colour area may be coloured in Heritage Blue or Matter Blue. Templates named ‘2-image’ are available for download for all three product ranges and are already CI-compliant.
In addition to single-image and two-image advertisements, another type of advertisement may be used in the Promote product area. Its special feature is the staged space created by the Product Gradient in the background. This focuses attention solely on the product in a factual and minimalist way. Please note that this type of advertisement may only be used to display promotional writing instruments and is not intended for communication actions for Write and Create.
For retailers who want to advertise one or more specific products, there is a separate ad format for the Write and Create product areas. Here, the focus is on the products and their sale. Product presentations can optionally be supplemented with application/usage images. Please note that the ‘Made in Germany Signet – Sales’ is always part of the layout. In addition, the URL is used instead of the QR code. The sample template already contains all design elements and is created in accordance with CI guidelines.
The layout principle is very flexible, making it transferable to a wide variety of formats. All ad types are available in four standard formats as template files.

Scaled from small to large: the layout principle of the advertisements in 1/1 format also forms the basis for other communication media in the out-of-home sector or at the point of sale. These include, for example, posters and roll-ups.
